Easier to Model When Cloaked

Here's the latest sub-project:

I'd do one of it cloaked, but the render times are extraordinary. (That's funny, see, cause when it's cloaked it's invisible, so, like, it doesn't take any time-- never mind...)

And the finishing (modeling) touches on the Surya:

Not a bad weeks (four days!) modeling! Soon it will be texture-o-rama! (Obviously the Romulan ship needs a good bird-y paint job.)

Nah, I quit panicing last month when I realized that I wasn't going to make 9/8. It'll be done sometime during the 40th anniversary. There were a few details I was going to have to fudge to get done on time, so it will look better too.

These are actually for another project I'm now attached to. More news soonish, I'm sure.

How to do the plasma torp, eh? Yeah, that'll be an adventure. The texture and composite nodes on Belnder 2.42 are a joy and let you do some astounding things, post-pro-wise. So it'll be COOL, however it turns out.

And Dykstroflonizer(tm) wasn't implemented until 1976, as you know full well.
