John "X-Men 2" Ottman tries his hand at The Man of Steel!

It sounds like Ottman is using the existing Williams stuff a little bit more than Williams used Star Wars for The Phantom Menace. Seems just about right. The last few seconds of track 2 where he just soars into the "Kent" theme are wonderful. (That's the theme that played under the farm scenes in Superman: The Movie - When Jonathan Kent died and when Clark decides to leave home. Williams played it very quiet and homey and Copland-y.)

So since they pushed up the movie release now I only get the CD the day before. I think some of these tracks will get played into the ground. Track 04 seems a likely candidate. (Sorry, honey. At least it'll be a break from me playing "Pegasus" over and over.)
